Mosque Namirah

The mosque is located in Arafat. It was recommended in Arafat for the haj pilgrims to perform solat Zuhur and Asar with one azan and 2 iqamah, in association with Prophet Muhammad SAW when He performed haj Wada' and wukuf at Arafat.

He performed asr prayer and DULUR jama 'and qashar. Later on He khuthbah at Arafat. And the place where He khuthbah built a mosque in the middle of the second century by the Abbasid rulers and the mosque named Namirar. Namirah named because it is adjacent to a small hill located in the west of the mosque. This hill called the hill Namirah.

Most of the mosques Namirah leading to the east is located in the wadi 'Uranah. This place does not include Arafat and saw Allah's Apostle forbade it wukuf in place, according to the words of Allah's Apostle of Allah while performing hajj Farewell "I wukuf here, and the whole place before staying Arafat, except wadi 'Uranah". So Namirah mosque located in the wadi is not included Arafat, and wadi is very close once with Arafat. The mosque is also known by the nickname Namirah mosques or mosque Ibrahim Arafat.
