Federal Territory Mosque, Malaysia (Masjid Wilayah)
The mosque was completely built on 30th August 2000. The area of the mosque covers about 13.4 acres on the site of former government office and court. The idea to build the mosque was inspired by the former prime minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. The mosque carries the concept of Mosque in the Garden. It combines the architectural design of Malay and Turkey Othmaniah. The mosque can accommodate up to 17,000 jemaah at the same time and equipped with latest facilities.
