Putra Mosque (Masjid Putra), Malaysia
























Putra Mosque, named after the first Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj is one of the major landmark in Putrajaya.

It is adjacent to and opposite Dataran Perdana Putrajaya Lake. This mosque was built in June 1997 and was completed in September 1999.

The mosque covers area of 1.37 acre. The architect who built this mosque was Y. Bhg. Dato’ Dr. Nik Mohamad Bin Mahmood. Construction of the mosque was conceptualized two concepts, namely Middle East and Traditional Malay.
